BOOQLI is an Israeli company specializing in personalized children’s books, where each child becomes the hero of the story.
 

BOOQLI was founded in 2024 by Yosef Avital, a computer engineer with a master’s degree in Computer Science, and Shemesh Tzoor, an electrical engineer and children’s book author. The combination of technological expertise and a deep understanding of children’s books and storytelling is at the heart of BOOQLI.
 

Using just one photo, we create a personalized book featuring the child’s name and illustrations tailored to their appearance using artificial intelligence technology. Our books are based on stories written by Israeli children’s authors and combine innovative technology with professional writing, editing, and human quality control.
 

When we launched BOOQLI in 2024, we searched around the world for a website offering a similar experience - real children’s books transformed into personalized books using the child’s name, photo, and illustrations tailored to their appearance. We couldn’t find one.

That is how BOOQLI was born: from a desire to create a new way for children to become part of the stories they read.
 

As of September 2026, more than 7,000 BOOQLI books have been sold, and more than 150 kindergartens across Israel have already chosen BOOQLI.
