​When we launched BOOQLI in 2024, we searched around the world for a website offering a similar experience — real children’s books by authors that could be transformed into personalized books featuring the child’s name and illustrations tailored to resemble them. We couldn’t find one.

BOOQLI was founded by Yosef Avital, a computer engineer with a master’s degree in Computer Science, and Shemesh Tzur, an electrical engineer and children’s book author.

Since its launch, BOOQLI has combined the world of children’s books with artificial intelligence technology, while maintaining a careful creation process and human quality control.

As of September 2026, more than 7,000 BOOQLI books have been sold, and our books have reached more than 150 kindergartens across Israel.
